Architect, PhD in Urban and Regional Planning. Full Professor of Urban Planning at the Department of Architecture of the University of Palermo. Researcher at the Université Paris XII-Val de Marne (France), the Université Paris-Sorbonne (France), the University of Aalborg (Denmark). She carries out research on the enhancement of cultural heritage, sustainable development and urban regeneration. She has directed projects for the enhancement of archaeological contexts, has drafted Colour Plans for historic urban contexts, has collaborated in the drafting of municipal and regional urban plans. Her latest publications are: "Metamorfosi urbane" (Florence, 2012); “Gibellina: la città che visse due volte” (Milan, 2019); “La rigenerazione urbana di Aalborg", (Milan, 2022).
