The richness of this section of the Magazine consists in the representation of the different realities and peculiarities of port cities, as well as of the specific problems, complexity and forms of relationship, planning and governance solutions, also with a look at maritime history and identity. It is a thematic approach that aims to offer an image – therefore a “portrait” – of the city and its specificities linked to the presence of a port or a sea or river waterfront.
