“International Conference on Harbor, Maritime and Multimodal Logistic Modelling and Simulation”
Rome, Italy | September 19-21, 2022

19 Luglio, 2022

Innovations and improvements are required to react quickly to the new trends of the global economy.

Over the years, Modeling & Simulation (M&S) has proved to be one of the most effective, beneficial and successful methodologies to investigate and study complex systems belonging to various sectors/areas, as port logistic.
M&S provides infact a multidisciplinary perspective where theory and data from different fields can be used to build models and simulations that provide insights in to the system considered.
Nevertheless, to take full advantage of this technology there are relevant issues that keep challenging the researchers towards even more advanced solutions and approaches where emerging and cutting-edge technologies are absorbed into.

In this sense, the 2022 International Conference on Harbor, Maritime and Multimodal Logistic Modelling and Simulation will be a place for knowledge exchange, the review and discussion of theoretical advances, research results, and industrial experiences, among scientists, researchers, decision makers, practitioners and students dealing with the multidisciplinary modeling & simulation and the related applications.

The conference, and the co-located events, will be held at Rome (Italy) on September 19-21, 2022, and will be dedicated principally of applications computer technologies to logistics, supply chain management, multimodal transportation, maritime environment and industrial logistics.

HMS Conference is a event that in past editions was held successfully worldwide, usually in the surroundings of major international ports (Genoa, 1999; Portofino, 2000; Marseille, 2001; Bergeggi, 2002; Riga, 2003; Rio de Janeiro, 2004; Barcelona, 2006; Bergeggi, 2007; South Italy, 2008; Canary Island, 2009; Fes, Morocco, 2010; Italy, 2011; Vienna, 2012; Greece, 2013; Bordeaux, France, 2014; Bergeggi, Italy, 2015) and was an opportunity for users, vendors and scientists – operating in applying advanced techniques to supply chains, logistics and handling facilities – to interact and exchange experiences.
