Director of the Infrastructure and Planning sector since 1994 to 2018, at the Port Authority of Catania. Then, after the establishment of the Port System Authority (AdSP) in Italy, Director at the AdSP of the Eastern Sicilian Sea of Augusta, Catania, Pozzallo and Syracuse. He held the role of manager of the main large infrastructure projects carried out in the relevant ports, and directed the working group that drew up the strategic planning document for the port system of eastern Sicily and prepared the new master plan for the port of Catania.
