PhD in Art History at the Autonomous University of Madrid with the doctoral thesis “The artistic photography in the illustrated press (Spain, 1886-1905)”. Currently, and since 2002, she is the director of the Documentation Centre of the Image of Santander, Santander City Council. She has participated in numerous research projects about nineteenth century painting and history of photography at the University of Cantabria, subjects for which she has several publications.
