Javier García Solera

Javier García-Solera has been a professor of architectural design in various Universities in Spain and Latin America. He has received numerous architecture awards such as the Europan prize (1988), Camuñas para jóvenes arquitectos (1996), CEOE of architecture (2002), Bienal de Vivienda de la Comunidad Valenciana (2006) and the social housing of the X Bienal de Arquitectura española (2009). It is five times COACV award, COAIB-M award (2002-2003) and Ciudad de Palma de arquitectura award (2010). His works created has received distinctions in the HYSPALIT, FAD, SALONI awards, and in the Spanish and Ibero-American Architecture Biennials. His work has been collected in exhibitions and specialized publications from around the world, including the Biennales de Venecia (2001 and 2014) and now in the monograph "Industrias" which includes thirty years of his career. His work Aulario III was proposed for the National Architecture Prize and was part of the European selection for the Mies Van der Rohe award (2001).
