PhD in Civil Engineer and Degree in Coastal Engineering by the University of Cantabria, MBA IE Business School of Madrid, Management Development Programme (IESE - Puertos del Estado) and Advanced Programme in Business International Commerce (EOI) General Manager in Santander Port Authority since December 2012. Previously (2010-2012) she was Operations Manager in Bilbao Port Authority. From June 2000 to 2010 she worked in the Port Authority of Aviles as Head of the Strategic Planning and Business Department, Head of Planning and Operations Department and Head of Infrastructure Department. Previously, she was Site Manager in TECONSA and full-time teacher at the Civil Engineering Department - University of Granada, from October 1998 to June 1999. She has written several national and international publications.
