Works in spatial and urban planning since 1970, he has conducted the execution of Municipal Directive Plans, management Plans of the Coastal Zone, Urban Plans and Detail Plans, in particular to Tourism Development Areas. He participated on the direction and coordination of Strategic Plans for several Portuguese cities and, as a consultant, for urban planning studies in Brazil, Mexico, Spain and Cape Verde. He was co-author of “Redaccio de Critéris para el Plan Especial Territorial de Mallorca” for the Consell Insular de Mallorca. He Coordinated the General Plan of Public Area for Tejo river front between Cais do Sodré and Santa Apolónia, and he is the author of the Requalification Project for Praça do Comércio (Terreiro do Paço) and Cais do Sodré square. He Participated, as an expert in territory management and Urban planning, in several seminars and conferences.
