Architect, Joaquín Melgarejo-Moreno is director of the University Institute of Water and Environmental Sciences of the University of Alicante, as well as project manager of the Economic Studies Institute of Alicante Province (INECA). Nowadays, he teaches at University of Alicante. Besides, he teaches postgraduate degrees at: Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Universidad de Granada, UNIVALI (Brasil) and Universidad Tecnológica de La Habana José Antonio Echeverría (Cuba).
