Architect. Natural from Almería. Most of his architectural work has been reviewed in specialized publications, among others, the restorations of the historical heritage of the Ensanche and Medina of Tetouan (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997) and the restorations in Almería of the El Alquife mineral loading dock, the house of the poet José Ángel Valente, the Cathedral, the Alcazaba, the Fischer house, the headquarters of the Brotherhood of Prendimiento, the Casa del Cine and the Doña Pakyta Art Museum. His work has been recognized twice as a BEST practice by the United Nations, in 2000 by the Special Plan for the Interior Reform of La Chanca, and in 2014 by the International Cooperation Program in the Medina of Tetouan. Among other awards, in 2004 he received the Arco Prize for the best architectural work in Almería awarded by the College of Architects of Almería and the 2023 Constitution Prize awarded by the sub-delegation of the Government of Spain.
