Pieter van der Linden. PhD in Marine Ecology in 2017 from the University of Coimbra, Portugal and Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine and Environmental Research (CIIMAR) Past research has focussed on investigating species community functioning in reponse to environmental change in marine- and freshwater ecosystems using trait-based approaches. He is a certified Scientific Diver and presently responsible for the CIIMAR Scientific Dive Centre and involved in several projects that includes Scientific Diving such as the EU 3DPARE project. His present research activities mainly involves understanding the contribution of Artificial Reefs (and accociated design features) to biodiversity.
