Graduate at the Deusto University in Company Management. Specialized in “Management and Finance Control”. From graduation until 1982: - Has taught Mathematics of various Secondary Schools and Colleges of Higher Education; - Participated in various port engineering and urban projects as a freelance Engineer. General Manager of Gibraltar-Intercar Maritime Terminal in the Bay of Algeciras, from 1982 until 1998. Member of the Gibraltar Region Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Shipping; the first Chairman of the Heavy Industry Association of the Gibraltar Region; and founder Member of the Gibraltar Regional Business Federation. Chairman of the Port Authority of Algeciras Bay (APBA) since April 1998. Chairman of the Social Council of Cádiz University (February 2002/2011). Awarded “Engineer of the Year” in 2002 by the West Andalusian College of Civil Engineers.
