Associate Professor (2012) of Town and Country Planning at UNIGE-DAD. He has a consolidated professional experience in spatial planning, urban design and environmental assessment. He teaches in the Master degree course in Architecture, deals with methods and instruments for Urban and Regional Plannin, Urban Design, Spatial Analysis and Environmental assessment method, with a specific interest in Strategic Evaluation Assessment. The main research interests have concerned three fundamental areas: 1) the study of the urban phenomenon in its physical-morphological and socio-economic characteristics; 2) the study of environmental management models oriented to sustainable development, urban resilience, urban and regional metabolism; 3) the study of the Italian (and in particular Ligurian) model of spatial and environmental planning.
