MSc Civil Engineer, specializing in Territorial Planning, Urban Planning and Transport, from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he has a Master’s Degree in Port Management and Intermodal Transport from the Comillas Pontifical University. His professional activity began in 1995, joining the Alicante Port Authority in 1998 and making his professional activity compatible with teaching at the University of Alicante during this period. In September 2007, he returned to Valencia where for four years he was in charge of the General Directorate of Ports, Airports and Coasts of the Generalitat Valenciana, and later he occupied the General Directorate of Transport and Logistics of the Generalitat Valenciana. In January 2015, he returns to the Alicante Port Authority as Managing Director.
