Founder and President of RETE. Former Assistant Professor of Urban Design at IUAV University of Venice. Former Director of the International Centre Cities on Water, Venice. Curator for the Venice Architecture Biennale of two exhibitions: Cities on Water (Floating Pavilion, Venice Arsenal, 2004) and Città-Porto, Palermo 2006. Scientific Director of the Pavilion "Cities on Water", Zaragoza International Expo 2008. Member of the International Committee of Experts of the Biennial of Architecture of Buenos Aires. Author of several publications on the redevelopment of the waterfronts and the Port-City relationship.
