Nuno Miguel da Costa Araújo graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minho. His academic career continues, later joining the Institute of Welding and Quality, Vila Nova de Gaia and the Porto Business School, of the University of Porto, where he completes the Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA). Within his diversified and extensive professional career, in the private and public sectors, he distinguishes himself as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Dissemination of Information Technologies (FDTI), Managing Partner, Director of Business Development and Internationalization and Director of the Industrial Division of EQS, Specialist Expert at SGS Portugal. As a Member of Parliament, a position he held from 2009 to 2011, he was a member of the Parliamentary Commission on Economic Affairs, Innovation and Energy, the Education and Science Commission, the Public Works, Transport and Communications Commission and, finally, the Eventual Commission of Parliamentary Inquiry into the Government's work in relation to the Foundation for Mobile Communications. Between 2015 and 2018, Nuno Araújo was Chief of Staff of the Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs, of the XXI Constitutional Government, assuming from that date the Board of Directors of the Ports of Douro, Leixões and Viana do Castelo (APDL), as a Vocal. From 1 July 2020 he assumes the Presidency of the APDL Board of Directors.
