Architect by the University of Granada, exercising his professional activity until 2007, in which he is called to public life as Deputy Mayor of the City of Motril holding responsibilities in various municipal areas. Member of the Commission of Security and Citizen Coexistence in the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, FEMP. In 2008 he participated in the creation of the Infrastructure Platform led by the City Council of Motril and the Chamber of Commerce and AECOST to fight for the completion of the sections of the roads de la Costa Tropical. In 2011 he was elected President of the Association of Municipalities of the Costa Tropical. February 2019, he was appointed president of the Port Authority of Motril, becoming the first president born in the city.
