I have been involved in Port Business and especially in Container Maritime Terminals, since 1996, when I finished my civil engineering studies, focused on different areas, but mostly in strategic planning and business management/development. During this period, I had the opportunity to lead and participate actively in different sort of activities like planning and design of ports and terminals, construction and managemetn of container terminal, mergers and acquisitions of companies, investments analysis, definition of commercial strategies, etc. Due to the stages in the Public sector (Port Authority Administration) and in Private companies I have got a background with global perspective about Port business, experience in international companies and multidisciplinary skills in business management. Since more then 15 years ago, I work in Hutchison Ports BEST in Barcelona, where after the design, construction and development of the terminal BEST in Barcelona, I am leading the commercial department from 2013.
