Research issues: Economics of public and private services, specialization in Tourism, Public Utilities and Education Economics. Enrico Conti is an expert in the economics of Tourism. Since 2009 he has deepened the study of the causal relationship between tourism and regional economic development. The scientific production is particularly concentrated on the issue of economic and environmental impacts of tourism on a local scale, through the use of input output modeling and, recently, through the estimate of the satellite account of tourism at the regional level. He is, on behalf of the Tuscany Region, the author of the Annual Report on the tourist situation in Tuscany and among the authors of the ”Strategic Plan on Tourism in Tuscany".
