Alberto Conejero is a playwright and researcher. He has published numerous articles about urban songbooks at the turn of the twentieth century, mainly focused on urban music amongst the Greek communities in Asia Minor. He is currently a professor at the Castile and León School of Drama and the Valladolid Master of Arts in Musicology. His theatrical work has been performed in Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and the Dominican Republic.
