Professor of Regional Geographic Analysis at the University of Huelva. He teaches classes at the Faculties of CC. Business and Tourism and Humanities. He is currently Vice Chancellor for Coordination and the 2030 Agenda. Applied research has focused on regional, local and rural development, directing 58 agreed projects and financed contracts. This work has accredited him to direct 19 doctoral theses. Regarding publications, he is the author and/or director of 37 books, 170 book chapters, and more than 50 articles. In 2021 he was the author of the monograph "La eurociudad del Guadiana".
