Degree in Industrial Engineering since 2008. Master in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Leadership from the University of Barcelona and OBS, with a specialization in Logistics and Warehouses (2009). The experience in ports began 15 years ago, Jacqueline Paredes has after consolidated the professional career thanks to the experience in various areas in the port sector, beginning a long journey in the logistics area from 2008 to 2011, and then covering the role of Commercial Executive (2011 to 2013). She subsequently has acquired greater knowledge of the organization's core business in the Operations area, initially as a Quality and Safety Supervisor and later promoted as Operations Coordinator, where she also achieved various certifications as an auditor (2014-2020). In 2018 she attended the Modern Port Management course organized by the APN and the Train for Trade program of UNCTAD, which allowed her to support the monograph on the topic of Port City Integration, to make the port visible and to carry out several study trips and exchange experiences in European ports such as Valencia and Gijón; she also be recognized by UNCTAD for the work carried out and as a reference for women in port trade. Her leadership skills in managing diverse and complex work groups, and her qualities of organization, empathy, spirit of dedication and service have allowed Jacqueline Paredes to reach the position of Head of Social Development at Terminal Internacional del Sur, and at the same time to be appointed Director of the Social Responsibility Area of Wista Perú, an association of professional women in the maritime, port, foreign trade and logistics sectors, roles which she currently holds.
