Giovanni Formisano

Member of county's Council of political party Italia dei Valori Naples. Chairman of Transport Mobility and Infrastructures Committee of Naples City Council.

Since 2001 activist member of Italia dei Valori -Italian political centre-left party. Member of Napolitan city committee of that party. In 1990 was promoter and co- founder of “Arcobaleno-Associazione Culturale per l'Europa e la pace (Rainbow-Cultural Association for Europe and Peace)” acting on the oriental neighbours of Naples.This territory presents very hard problems on the community life. The Association developed its volunteering activities in helping child and youths to recover a correct link with social life,institutions and school fighiting particularly to promote child participation to school activities. In 2011 he was elected , on behalf of Italia dei Valori,as member of city Council.Since then he was the Chairman of Transport, Infrastructures and Mobilty committee of City Council of Naples.The aim of this Committee is to check,promote and develop all the activities of its reference field. A fundamaental result of this activity was the foundation of a new Urban Transport Company coming from the mergering of the three precedent ones: Anm ( ruling the surface transport system, Metronapoli (ruling the cableway and subway system) and Napoli Park( Urban parking System).
