Graduate in Law from the University of Cantabria, with a Master's Degree in Legal Advice for Companies from the Instituto de Empresa and a Master's Degree in Maritime Navigation from the European Institute of Maritime Studies, Francisco Javier Álvarez has developed his career at the Port Authority of Santander since 2005, where he currently serves as Head of the General Administration and Legal Services Department. He has held the position of Secretary of the Board of Directors and of the Navigation and Port Council, representing the Port Authority in various inter-administrative bodies, including the Working Group established with the Santander City Council for the development of the “Frente Marítimo Portuario de Santander” project.
