David Pino is a Civil Engineer from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and has completed a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid); the Advanced Management Program (ESADE); and the Good Corporate Governance Program (ICA), among others. His work at the Port of Barcelona, where he has worked since 2007, and where he is currently the Director of the Port Vell Urban Planning Department, has led him to participate in numerous projects for the planning, development and execution of infrastructure, environmental, financial, energy, security, etc. projects. As Coordinator of the Port de Barcelona America's Cup Office, David Pino has actively participated in the preparation of the 37th edition which took place in Barcelona in 2024. His experience and knowledge in the different aspects related to this sporting event and in the management of port spaces dedicated to citizens, has also been highly valued on this occasion.
