Daniel GONZÁLEZ BOOTELLO

Daniel González is a Telecom Engineer from the University of Malaga. He started his career as a strategy and business consultant at Arthur Andersen. Later, he led the deployment of a city-wide Powerline Communications network for Spanish utility Iberdrola, before moving on to manage the regional knowledge coordinator Andalusian Technology Network. At present, he is director general of the Smart City Cluster, where he helps make cities better all around the world. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the European Commission’s Intelligent Cities Challenge.
