Rogério PEREIRA DOS SANTOS

Graduated in Dentistry, with a specialization in Public Health and a Master's degree in Public Health. He has been a civil servant since 1988, when he began his career in public life. He coordinated the Metropolitan Institute of Academic Research and Technical-Operational Consulting (IMPACTO), which produced scientific works for the development of Baixada Santista, bringing together researchers and universities in the region. He was a parliamentary advisor at the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo, chief of staff and municipal secretary to Mayor Paulo Alexandre Barbosa. In the municipal administration, he headed the Government Secretariat (Segov), the department responsible for coordinating the city's major projects, such as the New Entrance to Santos, New Ponta da Praia and the fight against Covid-19. He was mayor of Santos from 2021 to 2024 and reelected for the term from 2025 to 2028.
