Ignacio ÁLVAREZ-OSSORIO RAMOS

Ignacio Álvarez-Ossorio Ramos, born in Seville in 1959, is an industrial engineer and has a degree in Law. He has a diploma in Senior Business Management from the San Telmo International Institute in Seville and in Business Management from the Official Chamber of Commerce of Seville. He also has a diploma in Municipal Engineering from the Official College of Industrial Engineers of Western Andalusia. He began his professional career as a Project Engineer at Siemens to later hold various responsibilities at Transportes Urbanos de Sevilla S.A., where he has also held the position of deputy director. From 1993 to 2015 he has held various positions in the Public Agency of Ports of Andalusia, as Director of Operations, Deputy Managing Director, Director of Logistics and Transport Areas and Managing Director of Red Logística de Andalucía S.A. Since 2015 he has held the position of Director of the Port Authority of Huelva. At the European level, he has been President of the European Association of Logistics Platforms, Coordinator of the Transport Group of the Intermediterranean Commission of the CRPM, member of the forums of the European Atlantic and Mediterranean Corridors, and member of the Governance Committees and the of Intermodality, Logistics and Industry of ESPO.
