Francisco Javier GARCÍA VIEIRA

Francisco Javier García Vieira was born in Cádiz, Spain, in 1969. He holds a Telecommunication Engineering degree (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), and a PhD in Management by IESE Business School (Universidad de Navarra). He joined Red.es in 2003, after eight years of experience in the private sector, including Telefónica and a technology start up. In Red.es he has been involved in the public policies intended to foster Information Society in Spain, in areas such as Education, Healthcare, Small and Medium Size enterprises and Cities. In 2013, he was appointed Director of Digital Public Services.
