Emílio BROGUEIRA DIAS

President of the Leixões Port Community (CPL). Matosinhos, Portugal.

Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), Emílio Brógueira is President of the Leixões Port Community (CPL). He was admitted to the Administration of the Ports of Douro and Leixões in 1972, where, from that date, he held various functions. He was appointed, in 2001, President of the Board of Directors of APDL (Administration of the Ports of Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo S.A), and President of APDL during the period 2012 and 2017, as well as President of RETE - Association for the Collaboration between Ports and Cities. He has performed functions in the areas of study, project, works, planning and demanial management in the port sector.
