He is currently President of Assomarinas, the Italian National Association of Tourist Ports. His association activities at the national level began in 1990 as a member of the board of directors of Confindustria Nautica, the association that organizes the Genoa International Boat Show. The following year, in 1991, he expanded his international commitment by becoming a member of the IMG (Icomia Marinas Group), the London-based department of Icomia dedicated to global marinas. Starting in the 2000s, Perocchio took on significant managerial roles. From June 2004 to September 2011, he served on the Board of Directors of CISET (International Center of Studies on the Tourism Economy in Venice). In 2005, he began his long tenure as CEO of Venezia Terminal Passeggeri Spa, the management company of the Venice Cruise Port, a position he held until 2016. During this period, he also led the subsidiary V.T.P. Events S.r.l., focusing on conference services: he served as its CEO from 2008 to 2011, as a Board Member until 2013, and finally as President until 2016. His international profile was further consolidated between 2009 and 2017, a period during which he served as Chairman of the IMG. Additionally, between 2010 and October 2011, he held the position of Director for EU Relations and the Adriatic Area at MEDCRUISE. Since 2016, he has been a member of the board of directors of Federturismo-Confindustria in Rome. He is also the owner and manager of the "Marina del Cavallino" in the province of Venice, as well as two real estate companies.
