Joaquín Cárcamo Martínez

Technical architect. Founding member (1988), former president (1990-1996) and current board member of the Basque Association of Industrial Heritage and Public Works (AVPIOP). Member of the advisory council of TICCIH Spain. He was a professor and the director at the Basque Instituto de la Construcción (Vocational School in Construction). His interest in industrial and public works architecture and heritage has led him to study, publish and give lectures on the subject, being also involved in cultural and civic activism.
