Asier Atutxa Zalduegi

Asier Atutxa Zalduegi holds a Degree in Sociology from the University of Deusto; he has an executive MBA-Master’s in Business Administration from the INSIDE Association of Graduates at the University of Deusto; and is a Newfield Consulting Coach on “The Art of Business Coaching ABC”. Between 1997 and 2007 he was Head of Human Resources and Quality at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, and from 2009 until January 2013 he worked for the civil engineering consultants Ingeplan Consulting and was its CEO. On 8 February 2013 he was appointed Chairman of the Port Authority of Bilbao. In addition, he holds the posts of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the SIBPORT Board of Directors and Vice Chairman of the Uniport Bilbao Board of Directors, as well as being a member of the Board of Directors of Bilbao Ria 2000 and of the Executive Committee of the Bonded Warehouse Consortium of Bilbao.
