Alessandra Figliomeni
Architect, Technician Officer, Special Projects Unit, Heritage and State Property Department. Municipality of Genoa.
After graduating Alessandra Figliomeni expanded her studies in architecture with business experiences, working for private companies for the analysis of business processing, particurarly training about these topics. In this role she worked since 2003 to 2007 for the Land Management, Economic Development and Environment of the Municipality of Genoa as consultant monitoring urban projects and their associated administrative processes. At the same time in the City Plan Department she took part in studies for the preliminary design of the main infrastructures of Genoa improving the city's motorway hub, the railway system and the development of port areas. Since 2007 to 2012 she worked in the UrbanLab, conceived by Renzo Piano and associated with the Municipality, for the development of Genoa Urban Plan; this activity has mainly included the study of sustainable transformation of urban areas as well as areas in relation to the waterfront. Since 2013 Alessandra has been working for the Heritage and State Property Department dealing with for public properties projects in order to increase the value of cultural assets.
